We provide a 100% refund for bookings outside of 30 days before check-in, 50% outside of 14 days before check-in and no refund within 14 days before check-in.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
We provide everything you will need for your stay including all kitchen amenities, linens, towels, etc. We also supply a limited amount of firewood for the fireplace. You will need to bring food, although we provide most basic pantry staples (e.g. salt & pepper, etc.).
WHAT IS THERE TO DO?
Besides relax, the cottage is equipped with games, puzzles, books, television, pool table, outdoor dining table and chairs, and a fire pit. There are also areas to walk on the property plus lots of things to do in the area. Inside the cottage we provide a comprehensive list of things to do including restaurants and local attractions.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
Yes! We are animal lovers and understand how a vacation is so much better if you can bring your pet along. Dogs are, however, required to be on a leash when outside the cottage and you must be sure to pick up any messes left behind. Attached to the cottage is a large, enclosed dog area you will find convenient.
DO YOU PROVIDE A RENTAL AGREEMENT?
Yes. If you decide to book, you will receive an agreement that confirms your booking, outlines the cancellation policy and provides a few rules for your stay.
IS IT LESS EXPENSIVE TO BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH YOUR WEBSITE?
Yes. By booking directly you will avoid paying booking fees, which can be considerable. We are also able to offer discounts at certain times of the year and provide discounts to repeat guests by booking directly.
IS THE COTTAGE SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?
Yes and no... There are several staircases inside and out that will require caution with toddlers. Young children will also need to be supervised near the creek. While children can pet the horses, the horses must not be fed in case they accidentally bite. We do provide a high chair and booster seat for younger children.
DO YOU ALLOW WEDDINGS AND OTHER LARGE EVENTS?
Unfortunately no. We value our privacy and that of our neighbours. Therefore, unless you receive special permission from the hosts, we restrict the maximum number of guests visiting the cottage at any one time to eight and to registered guests only.
